Anatomical Embodiment & Somatic Movement
Workshop | online in presence | Thursdays from 19.03.2026 to 04.06.2026 | 12 weekly classes (3 hours each) | plus written assignments | Module of BASIC SOMATIC TRAINING | € 949,-

Embodied Anatomical Learning — Experience more than just textbook anatomy: blend scientific anatomical and physiological knowledge with personal sensation, movement and touch. This is the essence of PME (Physio‑Mentale Entwicklung): theory meets lived body.
Somatic Movement & Awareness — Gently explore movements, flow, stillness, spatial organisation, gravity, archaic movement patterns, body-mind sensing and more; all to reconnect with the innate intelligence of your body.
Deep Integration: Body, Mind & Emotions — Use movement, sensation, breath, and reflection to trace how physical structure, emotional history and mental patterns interrelate — and begin to gently shift what no longer serves you.
Embodied Self-regulation & Presence — Develop a refined body-schema and body-image; increase self-esteem and a grounded sense of being; access a richer, more subtle vocabulary of self-awareness and self-care.
Sense yourself. Move. Reflect. Grow.
Content Includes:
Anatomical Embodiment: exploring spine, pelvis, limbs, head & neck, breath & lungs, organ tissue, bone structure, spatial organisation and more.
Somatic Movement: from structured exercises to free flow, stillness to movement, full-body movement to subtle internal sensing, working with spatial relationships and gravity.
Mind & Perception: cultivating attention, refining quality of sensations, reflecting on emotions, sensations, and mental patterns, learning to “find words” for inner experiences.
Theory & PME Foundation: understanding what “somatics” means, the principles of PME, the “somatic dialogue”, self-regulation and self-organisation.
Reflection & Integration: feedback (written and spoken), somatic statements, homework — to deepen integration beyond movement sessions.
Unlike most embodiment workshops, this module uses the Somatic Dialogue — a precise PME method that helps you access meaningful, helpful, and often healing developments in your own individual body. Instead of learning generic movement patterns, you explore sensations, emotions, and internal shifts that arise uniquely within you.
You won’t just hear about anatomy — you will see it come alive. The workshop uses an advanced, movable 3D anatomical model, continuously adapted during class. This enables a sophisticated yet accessible understanding of structures, relationships, movement possibilities, and functional anatomy.
Most anatomy workshops teach system by system — bone, muscle, fascia, organs — separated and abstract.
This module is different.
Each class combines knowledge across multiple anatomical systems, reflecting how your living body actually works: interconnected, interdependent, alive. This fosters a deep, holistic, and accurate embodied understanding.
The workshop is grounded in 30 years of professional expertise in anatomy, movement, and embodiment.
And over 10 years of teaching Anatomical Embodiment with this unique PME method ensure an experience that is both highly sophisticated and surprisingly easy to grasp.
This workshop is not about imitating the teacher or following rules.
Your personal sensations, insights, metaphors, emotions, and cognitive realisations have a central place in the learning process — and you are invited to articulate and share them. What you feel is valid. What you perceive is important.
This is not an anonymous, high-volume online class.
The group is intentionally small so you can always ask questions, receive personal guidance, and feel seen.
Recordings are available, but the workshop is not designed as a “watch later” course. Presence is one of the core tools of PME. Your participation, your attention, your sensing, your exchange — these are the heart of the learning experience.
Every class includes circular group sharing, a structured format that allows each person to express their learning. This co-creates understanding, deepens integration, and highlights the richness of collective reflection. The group becomes part of your transformation.
This workshop does not rely on a guru’s authority or fixed doctrine.
The guiding principle is simple:
your lived experience is more important than someone else’s opinion.
You learn to trust your own perception, your own intelligence, your own body.
Unlike isolated workshops, this module is part of the Basic Somatic Training, a coherent, multi-year curriculum. You can book it individually, but it also fits seamlessly into a professional, long-term learning path.
